For the past eleven years,  I have had the honor of serving our community as a Leutenant in the Hamilton County Fire Department. During my time as a firefighter,   I have had the priviledge of rendering aid to countless people during times of crisis including containing fires,  rescuing folks from burning buildings, and providing support to Police and EMT's during emergencies.  A critically important skill firefighters must use to be successful is collaboration and teamwork.  Teamwork helps us get the job done better, faster, and safer.

My goal as a School Board member will mirror lessons learned over the past eleven years.  It is time to run into the burning building and save the lives of all who are trapped and cannot see how to improve their lives.
